MIND National support service for people with mental health problems, including suicidal thoughts. Includes resources and telephone helpline.
Shout 85258 A free, confidential, anonymous text support service for people in the UK with mental health problems (including those with suicidal thoughts).
Samaritans A registered charity aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope or at risk of suicide throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
Coping with self-harm, guide for parents and carers This free guide has been developed from conversations with parents and carers of young people experiencing difficult times. It is aimed at helping parents, carers, other family members and friends cope when a young person is self-harming.
Help is at Hand A free resource for people bereaved through suicide or other unexplained death, and for those helping them.
