Bethany Bell

Bethany Bell (Keble, 1987), BBC Foreign Correspondent
Based in Vienna, Bethany Bell has been a Foreign Correspondent for the BBC since 2001.
She has reported from more than 25 countries: throughout Europe, the Middle East and the United States. In the past few years, she has spent long periods in Egypt, covering the Tahrir uprising and its aftermath. She has followed the Iranian nuclear issue since 2003, and regularly reports on Austrian politics, history and culture. She is a regular contributor to Radio 4’s From Our Own Correspondent. Before the BBC, Bethany was a Broadcast Journalist at ORF Radio Austria International and FM4.
