(E5/10) Walking through Clarendon Centre
– I don’t actually like this soundscape because all the sounds kind of merge together because of the acoustics – the size of the ceilings, all the hard surfaces – it makes it very difficult to place sounds in space, like where the coffee shop sounds come from. At the same time, it’s really interesting because you get different music coming out of different shops and blending together so compositionally; creatively, listening to it outside of the context of being there, I find it very interesting to do. I like how there is loads of crossover and that the songs all kind of mash in to one.
