Trusting the News

This lecture series seeks to explore and explain the sources and forms of uncertainty in key aspects of contemporary life. Across a range of public and private arenas, there is a loss of confidence, a sense of insecurity, a decline of trust, and a generalised uncertainty about the direction in which society is travelling. The lectures look successively at this uncertainty in health, in politics and in the media.
