Endangered Archaeology in the Middle East and North Africa
The Endangered Archaeology of the Middle East and North Africa (EAMENA) project is a collaboration between the Universities of Oxford, Leicester and Durham; funded since 2015 by the Arcadia Fund and more recently the Cultural Protection Fund. This paper explores the development of the EAMENA project, its aims and objectives in recording archaeological sites and assessing disturbances and threats across the MENA region and will highlight some of the initial results.
